A bit of history

Deram Systems traces its roots back to 1974 when its founder, Peter Henderson, set up a graphic design business called Intergraphic in West London. Personal computers, as we know them today, had not arrived at that time. However, computer technology was already in use to produce typesetting and the new company was quick to take advantage of the benefits. During the eighties, after the Applemac and the Windows PC came on the scene, desktop graphic design software revolutionised the design and print industries and we embraced the new opportunity.

	More recent history

It's a long time since we created artwork by sticking pieces of paper on board with cowgum.  Since those distant days the business emphasis has changed from graphic design for print to graphic design for IT and the Internet. In the early nineties we also began to develop business database systems to support our client's Internet sites. Today, as well as designing websites, with or without on-line order systems, we also produce software for all kinds of retailers, manufacturers and other organisations.

The need for accurate Data Entry, Retrieval and Management (DERAM) lies at the core of every type of system we design. We have produced systems for many kinds of organisations from tour operators, manufacturers, caterers, gardeners, car dealers and retailers to schools, charities and even prisons.

Deram Systems offers a wide range of software including business accounts, marketing, tele-sales, mail-order, stock control, retailing and on-line order systems.
